Marufuku Ramen Cupertino Introduce
Ramen has evolved far beyond its humble beginnings to become a global culinary phenomenon, and for residents and workers across California's Silicon Valley, the demand for truly authentic, high-quality Japanese noodle soup is stronger than ever. Located in the heart of Cupertino, Marufuku Ramen Cupertino stands as a key destination for enthusiasts seeking a genuine taste of one of Japan’s most celebrated regional styles: Hakata Tonkotsu ramen. The restaurant brings a tradition of rich flavor and meticulous preparation directly to the Bay Area community.
The core of the Marufuku experience lies in its commitment to the Hakata-style of ramen, which originates from the Fukuoka prefecture of Japan. This style is famously defined by its milky, umami-rich Tonkotsu (pork bone) broth. This signature broth is not simply simmered; it's meticulously prepared by boiling high-quality pork bones for long hours—often exceeding 20 hours—at a high temperature. This rigorous process breaks down the collagen, marrow, and fat, creating a uniquely cloudy, velvety-smooth, and intensely flavorful foundation. This level of culinary dedication ensures that every bowl served in Cupertino carries the unmistakable depth of flavor that defines authentic Hakata ramen.
Marufuku Ramen Cupertino is conveniently situated to serve the bustling Silicon Valley community, making it an ideal stop for lunch, dinner, or a quick meal. The restaurant's address is 19772 Stevens Creek Blvd, Cupertino, CA 95014, USA. This central Cupertino location places it near major corporate campuses, residential areas, and thoroughfares, ensuring easy access for local patrons.
Accessibility for all guests has been prioritized, offering a welcoming experience from the moment of arrival. The establishment provides a wheelchair accessible entrance, making entry smooth for everyone. For drivers, both a free parking lot and free street parking options are available, removing the stress of finding a spot in a busy area like Cupertino. Inside, the commitment to accessibility continues with a wheelchair accessible restroom and wheelchair accessible seating, ensuring comfort and convenience for all diners.
The restaurant is designed to meet the modern demands of Silicon Valley life, offering a range of flexible services for both dining in and enjoying a meal at home or the office.
- Dine-in: Traditional seating options, including counter and table service, are available for those who want to experience the casual, cozy, and lively atmosphere in person.
- Takeout: Meals can be prepared for convenient pickup, allowing customers to quickly grab their favorites and enjoy them elsewhere.
- Delivery & No-Contact Delivery: For maximum convenience, especially for local businesses and busy families, both standard and no-contact delivery options are provided.
- Curbside Pickup: A streamlined service option where pre-ordered meals can be collected directly from the curb, minimizing time spent outside the car.
- Lunch and Dinner Service: The restaurant operates during both lunch and dinner hours, making it an excellent choice for a midday break or an evening meal.
- Payment Flexibility: Payments are easily processed using Credit cards, Debit cards, and NFC mobile payments.
Beyond the signature broth, Marufuku Ramen Cupertino offers several features and highlights that set it apart as a premier ramen destination in the Bay Area:
- Authentic Hakata Noodles and Kaedama: Hakata ramen utilizes ultra-thin, straight artisanal noodles that pair perfectly with the rich broth. Because these thin noodles absorb the broth quickly, the restaurant offers the traditional "Kaedama" system, allowing patrons to order an Extra Noodle serving ($2.00) to replenish their bowl without losing the desired firmness. Diners can even request specific firmness levels for the best experience.
- Rich Menu Variety: While the Tonkotsu is the star, the menu is diverse, featuring the Chicken Paitan ramen with a creamy white chicken broth, and a flavorful Vegetable Ramen. Customers can customize their bowls extensively with extra toppings like Pork Chashu ($4.00), Seasoned Soft Boiled Egg ($3.50), and Kikurage Mushrooms ($1.50).
- Izakaya-Style Small Bites: The dining experience is enhanced by a selection of Japanese pub-style appetizers, including crowd favorites such as Gyoza 7pc ($9.50), Takoyaki 5pc ($9.50), and the popular Chicken Karaage ($11.00).
- Convenient Bento Boxes: For a complete, balanced meal, especially favored for quick takeout or lunch, the menu includes various Bento Box options, such as Karaage Bento ($15.95), Katsu Bento ($15.95), and the luxurious Unagi Bento ($21.95).
- Beverage Selection: The restaurant offers a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks, including Asahi Super Dry Beer ($8.00) and a variety of premium Sake options like Marufuku Junmai Daiginjo(720ml) ($70.00), alongside unique Japanese soft drinks such as Kimino Yuzu ($6.50) and Ramune ($4.50).
- Family and Group Friendly: The atmosphere is casual, cozy, and lively, welcoming groups and families. The availability of High chairs and a general "Good for kids" environment makes it an excellent choice for a family outing.
- Noteworthy Reputation: The Marufuku brand is highly regarded in the California ramen scene, often generating significant popularity, which is why patrons should be aware that there is Usually a wait to dine in, though the Fast service once seated helps keep the experience efficient.

For California ramen aficionados, Marufuku Ramen Cupertino offers a compelling package centered on authenticity and convenience. The most significant reason to choose this spot is its specialization in Hakata-style Tonkotsu. Unlike the often heavier, more complex broths found in other regional styles, Hakata’s thin noodles and intensely boiled, pure pork-bone broth offer a lighter, yet incredibly deep, flavor profile that many consider to be the gold standard of Tonkotsu ramen. The “Hakata Tonkotsu DX” is highly recommended for first-timers, providing the full spectrum of toppings, including extra chashu pork and kakuni (braised thick pork belly).
Furthermore, the comprehensive range of services—from efficient curbside pickup to full table service—makes it a versatile option for any schedule. The menu goes beyond noodles, with delightful comfort food and small bites like the savory Marufuku Bites (Japanese steamed buns) and customizable rice bowls, ensuring there is a fulfilling option for every craving. The restaurant’s professional, welcoming atmosphere and focus on speed—a "fast service" highlight—ensure that even with a potential wait, the meal itself is a satisfying and well-executed experience, solidifying Marufuku Ramen as an essential culinary stop in Silicon Valley.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Excellent umami ramen. The noodles are ok. For the standard ramen you get a whole egg, two thin slices of chase and green onio ns. It's a busy place but you get seated in half an hour if you join the Yelp waiting list. Skip the Chicken Karaage. Somehow, I find it too thick and firm for my taste. I will be back again to try the other menu items.
October 13 · Michael “SkyDiver” FlorentinoThe only left was for me to be on my way, food tasted like I was at home with my family. Service made it feel like they were waiting me to arrive. Started with a dry beer , just what I needed. All the was left from the pork bum were onions . The ramen was fantastic, the chickenreminded me of the fist time I stayed home sick and tasted chicken soup.Stop by bring the family, worth every cent.
October 12 · Migy ThebeastFirst, I want to call out the Ika Karaage (fried squid). It was perfectly cooked with a light batter. The chunky pieces of squid had a great texture, and the accompanying sauce was a perfect complement. Definitely in the top 5 of the fried squids I have tried (4.5/5)We ordered the Hataka Tonkotsu DX in one spicy (3.5/5) and one medium (3/5). The noodles were perfectly cooked, it had a nice bite to it, overall great texture. The broth was savory and not overwhelming. The spicy broth was a lot better than the medium, even after I added extra spice to the medium bowl. I am assuming different amount of spicy oil used in the spicy version that made a slight difference. The bowl was not very spicy either, not just me, the table next to me also said the same thing. So go for the spicy, it had slightly more flavor profile to it.I was a bit disappointed with the chashu pork slices, they were a bit too thin compared to other places. The flavor was decent, they were also a bit drier than what I've had elsewhere. The pork belly was similarly a little dry, but flavorful. I was very disappointed with the egg, it was just a soft boiled egg. I was expecting (Ajitsuke Tamago) which is the marinated soft boiled egg that typically comes with the ramen. Maybe it was the style of the ramen, and this one calls for a regular egg.
August 10 · Alex LuuWent with some friends for lunch on a Sunday afternoon and have to wait for more than 10 minutes to be seated even when we had a reservation. Nevertheless, the food is good especially the Matafuku pork buns and the Tonkatsu Ramen. Overall, it was a satisfying experience for all of us.
June 20 · Isaac TanTasty ramen served at this ramen shop in Cupertino. Although it is part of a chain, the food is still pretty good. The pork broth was super flavorful, the pork meat perfectly seasoned, and the noodle texture was spot on. Not a big menu of ramen dishes, but there are some standard appetizers and rice bowls as well. Efficient service. Large free parking lot.
