★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Let me start off with saying food 10/10. It very hard to find a really good authentic Salvadoran restaurant. Especially with decent size pupusas that aren't more masa than fillings. Everything was flavorful. The salsa and curtido were the best I've had in awhile. And the Agua de ensalada was so refreshing. Everything 10/10. Even the service. The lady was super sweet and the vibes were just vibing.
May 30 · YesseniaRevisit:So I went again this time I tried the special of steak platter. The beans were ok but needed more flavor. I added hot sauce to it and the cheese to help. The handmade tortillas were amazing and different style that I never had before. It’s like a pupusa without the filling. The steak flavor was good and couldn’t figure out what it was but I think it was cooked a little long cause it was dry a bit. I think giving the option of medium cook it would have been perfect. All in all the meal was ok but I think I will stick to the pupusas for now and maybe try another item on the menu again later on.So I just found this place on my Instagram and I loooove pupusas so I had to try. I’ve been ruined by others authentic homemade ones so my taste buds are very picky now. Let me just say this is the best pupusa I’ve ever had. The flavors are amazing and they keep the sauce to pour on it separate. This is my fav new place now. Menu: 3 pupusas with fried sweet plantains with sour cream; I got pork, beans, & cheese, zucchini and cheese, and loroco and cheese. The drink is called ensalada de fruta and omg best thing I’ve ever experienced.
September 29 · Lannah SI just returned from San Salvador and couldn't wait to dive into the local cuisine again. I ordered the Antojito plate, a sampler featuring premium portions of chicharrón, tamale, empanadas yuca, and plantain. It was delicious—not Michelin 3-star level, but fantastic for home-style and street food. I requested something spicy to complement the meal and was served pickled habanero, which was superb. The owner was lovely, and the food arrived within 15 minutes. Excellent service.Highly recommend!
June 27 · Mark HassinI usually come here for the pupusas, especially the jalapeño and bean ones—they’re always tasty and consistently good. The combo plate is also a great option if you want to try a bit of everything—especially the plantain desserts, which are delicious. The soups can be a bit of a hit or miss when ordered for takeout (particularly the beef and seafood soup), but whenever I’ve had them in the restaurant, they’ve been flavorful and satisfying.I’ve also tried the horchata, which pairs really well with the pupusas and makes for a refreshing drink option. The place has an authentic, welcoming vibe, and the staff are very courteous. A unique touch is the wall where guests can put up their country of origin, which makes the space feel even more friendly and inclusive.Overall, a cool spot with amazing pupusas and a warm atmosphere that keeps me coming back.🌮 Quick Tip: Don’t miss the jalapeño pupusas—and pair them with a combo plate and horchata for the perfect experience
September 23 · Zoheb MujahidHonestly this is the best Salvadoran restaurant I’ve tried in the Bay Area. I moved from LA a year ago and I tried many places. To start the food is delicious and I can say that this pupusas are even better than my favorite ones in LA. Second the Service! For some reason most Salvadoran restaurants in the area or from back home Service always sucks the waitresses always act very rude and condescending but not here. Everyone including one of the owners were very respectful welcoming and treated everyone nicely. and third the horchata was just like El Salvador’s. I will be coming back for sure
