For California residents in the South Bay seeking an authentic and comforting Japanese meal, JapaCurry offers several compelling reasons for a visit or an online order. The primary draw is the authentic Japanese curry, a complex, slow-cooked sauce that provides a profound depth of flavor that is both unique and universally appealing. This is a crucial distinction from other Asian curries and is what the establishment has built its reputation on.
The emphasis on the **Katsu Curry** dishes—both the pork and chicken varieties—makes them a must-try. These dishes deliver the satisfying crunch of panko-breaded meat against the warm, velvety curry sauce and perfectly cooked Japanese short-grain rice. chicken katsu
★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1This place is a ghost kitchen, go in there and an employee will ask your order name and from which vendor. Anyway the food here is not mind blowing but good for what it is if you are working in the area. The portion size is very little for the chicken katsu/kaarage and thats already a sign for me that I wont be returning as often as much as i wanted to. Give it a chance, couldve been an off day or something.
April 02 · Richard TI unfortunately am not a fan of burnt Chicken Katsu. Gets a 3 because it was palatable.
April 04 · Matt NgOrdered croquet curry which is vegetarian. It was decent, was a gamble for the place rating so was pleasantly surprised when it wasn't bad. The place is doordash only and so no seating.
January 25 · Krishna ToshniwalGreat taste, reasonable price and smooth transaction. I repeated to order their dishes several times and I didn't be disappointed every time:) Definitely I will order again soon!
November 28 · Akiko KawaiImpossible to locate. Says it's at 949 ruff but no signs indicate it is here.
