Great sushi spot tucked in the large shopping center on Camden and Union. There's lots of parking and a decent amount of seating for a small restaurant. The staff were all very nice and attentive. I dined in on a Friday night and the ambiance was busy and lively. I noticed there was a lot of regulars dining in, always a good sign :-).For a sushi restaurant, I was impressed with their vegetarian options! They have vegetarian udon and 5 vegetarian rolls. Along with the traditional apps.-Edamame: salty and savory-Miso soup: delicious and actually hot! Perfect for a cold night-Seaweed salad: a good portion and nicely seasoned-Vege roll: the only difference between this roll and the caterpillar roll is the mango and portion size. The vege roll was perfect for me portion wise. The pickled veggies were delicious!Definitely recommend Shima Sushi!

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.The restaurant is bright, clean, and cozy—perfect for both a casual lunch and a nice dinner. Their specialty rolls like the Godzilla Roll and Lion King Roll are must-tries, and vegetarians will appreciate their delicious veggie options like udon and vegetable rolls.Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. I’ve never left disappointed, and every visit feels like a treat. Highly recommended for anyone who loves fresh, flavorful sushi served with a smile

Biggest problem - serviceWe ordered to-go. Went out for 30 minutes and got back, food wasn't ready. The restaurant was running at less than 30% capacity. But here comes the worse part. The waitress asked us to go wait outside in the heat. After that we waited a further 20 minutes for our food.The food wasn't great but the service was much poorer still.

the staff was nice but the food wasn't great. I've never had imitation crab meat at a Japanese restaurant. It was awful and the bowl wasn't good either it was not like the menu described with no veggies at all unless you count the one shredded carrot on top. I wouldn't recommend with overpriced items.
