Had the best time at La Hacienda Parrilla in San José! 🥘 Everything was delicious full of flavor and just hit the spot. Huge shoutout to Valentina and Yamileth for their warm, friendly service 💛 We’ll definitely be back! 🇨🇴✨

Overall was regular…! But my plate did not have any taste, was very dry, chocolate was not even hot, and for that reason I don’t give 4-stars… the ambience was good, music wasn’t loud, and the place was not crowded at that moment… The waitress was kind, just she should present herself by her name and try at least to recommend.!

I was really hoping to like this place. My husband I drove up to San Jose (2.5 hours) to have a Colombian day. We hit up a couple Colombian restaurants. One for lunch, a bakery’s and This spot is what we chose for dinner. We order Chicharon and the fried fish two of my faves from Colombia. The chicharon was over cooked or recooked to the point of it being to dry to chew. I did like the dipping sauce, had a little kick to it. The fish had a burnt taste to it and didn’t have any flavor. We tried to finish as much as we could out of respect and not to waste the food but I left that to my husband lol. Maybe Saturday or Sundays are better but Friday was not it. We were also the only ones in there for dinner on a Friday night.

As always thank you for your service. Wow delicious and generous authentic vegan Colombian rice with green beans, carrots, yellow corn, red onions decorated with sesame seeds. On the side ripe fried plantains and addition of red beans prepared by chef Andres.
