Care Introduce
For residents and visitors in California’s vibrant Bay Area, Care Filipino Restaurant stands as an essential destination for authentic and affordably priced Filipino cuisine. Located conveniently in Milpitas, Care focuses on providing traditional flavors through a menu built around value, classic entrees, and beloved grilled specialties. As a dedicated Filipino restaurant, it connects the local community with the comforting and rich tastes of the Philippines, offering a taste of home or a delightful culinary adventure for new patrons.
The restaurant's menu structure is clearly designed with the budget-conscious diner in mind, heavily featuring combinations and value packs that deliver substantial portions without a high price tag. This approach makes Care a popular choice for quick, satisfying, and economically sound meals in a region where dining expenses can often be high. The core of their offering centers on a balance between grilled meats and seafood—known as $Inihaw$—and traditional stews and braised dishes, the Classic Entrees.
One of the main highlights is the variety of Value Meals and Combos. The $Iniwow Value Meals$ are a particularly attractive option, allowing patrons to pair one grilled item with one classic entree, such as the flavorful Pork BBQ ($8.50) or the fresh Grilled Tilapia ($9.99). The individual $Grilled a la Carte$ options are perfect for snacking or customizing a meal, featuring popular items like the 1 Piece Pork BBQ ($2.99) and 1 Piece BBQ Chicken ($2.99). For families or larger appetites, the $Value Packs$ offer a great deal, including the 2 Piece Grilled Pompano Value Pack ($14.50) and the 2 Piece Grilled Tilapia Value Pack ($12.50).
The versatility of the menu continues with the $Classic Entrée Combos$, which allow diners to mix and match. The Single Classic Entree is priced at a very accessible $6.99, while the Double Classic Combo provides an opportunity to sample more of the menu for only $8.99. While the specific list of Classic Entrees beyond the $Seafood Classic Entree$ and $Pork Classic Entree$ is broad and depends on the day's offerings, these categories typically include staples of Filipino cooking such as $Adobo$ (braised meat in soy sauce and vinegar), $Sinigang$ (sour and savory tamarind soup), $Kare-Kare$ (oxtail and vegetable stew in a peanut-based sauce), or $Menudo$ (pork and liver stew). The rotating nature of the "Classic Entrees" ensures a dynamic and authentic cafeteria-style dining experience, where local diners can find their favorite, hearty Filipino stews.
In terms of the culinary experience, the focus remains firmly on the food's quality and authenticity. Customers appreciate the genuine Filipino flavors. However, as with any busy, high-volume establishment, consistency can sometimes be a challenge. As one customer noted, the food is generally "Good food here," though the texture of some pre-prepared items can vary, stating that the "BBQ might be a bit old and hard" depending on the time of day. This is a common factor in establishments that prepare large batches of food to ensure speed and value, and it’s a detail knowledgeable California diners often factor into their visit time. The positive side is that the core offerings, such as the grilled items and soups provided with a meal, are highlights for many, delivering that specific, comforting Filipino taste.
The communal appreciation for authentic, ethnic food at great prices in the Bay Area remains the strongest endorsement for Care. Filipino cuisine offers a unique flavor profile—a blend of savory, sour, and sometimes sweet—that makes it a distinct and beloved part of the California food landscape. Care's dedication to making these traditional meals accessible through aggressive pricing and convenient combo options ensures its continued relevance in the competitive Milpitas dining scene. Despite some occasional service challenges noted in public feedback, the ability to get a quick, satisfying, and inexpensive taste of the Philippines remains the primary draw.

For California diners in the Milpitas area, Care Filipino Restaurant is worth choosing primarily for its unparalleled combination of authenticity and value. In a high-cost area like the Bay Area, finding a meal that offers two entrees—one grilled, one classic—for under $10 is a rarity, making the $Iniwow Value Meals$ a significant draw. The restaurant serves as a reliable source of Filipino comfort food, appreciated by the local Filipino community and food enthusiasts seeking genuine flavors.
While some customer feedback indicates that the service can be inconsistent, it is important to remember that the primary mission of an authentic, high-volume establishment often prioritizes fast, affordable food delivery over extensive tableside attention. Diners choosing Care should focus on the quality and flavor of the key food items, such as the savory grilled meats and fish, which are the heart of the cuisine. October 01 · Nhat PhanMy first time in this place since we are from MO and was here for a vacation. I ordered grilled squid and bangus, they did give me soup with rice but never a sauce or something. The food isn't bad but customer service sucks. I asked for a "to go box" since obviously I did not finish my food. The lady was just staring at me and doesn't know what I am asking for,so I talked in tagalog " Ate pahingi po ng box lagayan ng left over". She looked at me again and said " Doon ka sa cashier manghingi". Wow! The box was sitting right behind her all this time. I have to ask from another lady behind the cashier(since cashier was attending to someone else). This lady handed me a box with a very unfriendly look. Is it the first time that somebody had asked for a to go box??? Seriously? Customer service just sucks. I will never recommend this place to anybody and will never be back. A bit of advice ladies..if you do not like the job you're doing, then go elsewhere and find a job that will make you happy".
October 28 · nhina ferandoThe filipino food here is bomb.
September 28 · Mz DreaWhile grocery shopping, we stopped @ Grill City for 2 pieces of the chicken inasal to go.When we arrived home I separated the drumstick from the thigh and it was undercooked! The inside was still red!So I just put it in the oven for about 30 mins @ 325 and it was done. Other than it wasn't grilled @ the proper temperature, it was still delicious.
November 19 · Cisco LWe ordered several menus for my aunt's birthday but when we arrived to pick them up, they we're still preparing them and 2 of our orders were not done. Very frustrating. We will never order food from them.
